Audrey and her team at Southern Homecare cared for our uncle for almost 10 years. He broke his hip at 86 and immediately lost his independence, as he could no longer walk without assistance. He was very adamant that he wanted to remain at home, and that required 24/7 care to attend to all his needs.

For a long time, Audrey provided the weekend care as we had an existing caregiver team Monday-Friday. Over time, however, Audrey’s team provided more and more of our uncle’s care, picking up the weekdays, intermittent hospital stays, etc. Among the SH caregivers we worked with over the years, we developed very close and loving relationships with most, if not all.

Audrey has several really world-class caregivers on her team, and they are all well-trained and competent. We had emergencies develop at times–some requiring trips to the hospital in the middle of the night when a caregiver was alone with our uncle–and they were always handled perfectly.

You can rest assured your loved one will be properly cared for when you leave them in Audrey and her team’s care.
